What do you guys think? Let us know in the comments. (Probably not.) One of The Walking Dead's next big villains from the comics is named "Alpha," and some have speculated that Jadis will take on that role, but I can't imagine she would just start using the first letter of that name in this way instead of using the actual Greek letter. Perhaps instead of using numbers, she's just chalking that "A" to mean he's been in there for one day. And since there was so little that went on between Rick and Jadis earlier in the episode, it's even possible that she's just getting him to sacrifice some of his time as a show of faith that he really needs their help and isn't just out for revenge. Rick doesn't know that Jadis marked his trailer, even though he had an eye on her as she walked away. Hell, it's very hard to know what is actually going on here. We can't assume that Jadis was around and watching Sam putting his "A" stamps on things, so this use is probably more thematic in nature than something meant to tie into all the other instances. As well, that's when Carl got his eye shot out of his head, which gave Rick quite a bit of worry. In this case, it involved Jessie and Sam getting chomped on during the attempted escape from that massive herd. That use was seemingly more of a Scarlet Letter reference, since Jessie was married to porch-dick Pete whenever Rick started getting sweet with her.īut as it goes with the other cases, the letter "A" there also foreshadowed some particularly horrific events. The ever-annoying Sam had an "A" ink stamp that he used to mark Rick and Jessie's hands, as well as the occasional front steps bannister. Back in Team Family's early days within Alexandria, before Negan's name was on everyone's lips, we got to see the letter make an appearance that - you guessed it - also came across as more of an ominous warning than anything with a big secret meaning.

Eventually, the group text out Thurman is with a red machete, and even when they beg for surrender close out the loopholes, and they put them out of their misery.ĭisclaimer: The opinions and documentation contained within this article and on this blog are the sole property of and are not to be copyrighted or reproduced in any manner, else legal action within the rights of the United States legal code could be use to obtain recompense. It is really cool how Rick Stays persistent against all odds, and how even when they are in a lineup about to potentially be taken out completely, that they are able to persist on and keep trying.

We eventually find our group completely out gunned and cornered, as they are in something of an RV trailer that is locked up, as they eventually use the terminus to reunite. Rick Grimes vs Terminus, The Machete With a Red Handle From here, we noticed that something is off, as they have kidnapped some of the groups friends, with Rick Rimes noticing Herschel‘s wash it was gifted to Glenn. We originally see the group being split up, and looking for safe haven after being thrown out of the prison towards the beginning of season four, and seeing signs on the train tracks which point to safe haven. This is true and no other place in The Walking Dead, especially when we see Rick Rimes go up against terminus, the group that is probably one of the most evil in the entire show.

What we see, is something very similar to real life, how the day today struggle me sometimes feel pointless, and that there is no way forward, but that over gigantic blocks of time like six months or a year or five years, that everything comes full circle and that the characters and yourself are eventually able to move forward in a very meaningful way. Something that I really like about The Walking Dead, and that I have always loved about it, is how it shows an immense persistence and endurance test among these characters day after day. In this blog post I will talk about the sequence of events in The Walking Dead it eventually led to Rick Grimes attacking terminus, they eventually went there to originally find Safe haven.
